Questions worth asking, honestly answered.
What IA does, what it does not do, how the WordPress integration handles backups, what happens when things go wrong. Read this before you scan your site — or after, when you have more questions.
How is this different from Ahrefs / SEMrush / Screaming Frog?+
Those tools find symptoms — page-level issues like missing meta tags, slow speed, broken links. Infinite Authority finds structural failures — cannibalisation between pages, missing pillars, orphan authority, broken topical hierarchy. Different layer of the problem. We complement those tools; we do not replace them. More on why standard SEO tools miss this layer →
Do I have to be on WordPress?+
No. The diagnosis + plan + content generation work for any site. The one-click push to live only requires WordPress + Elementor + the IA Elementor Bridge plugin. For non-WordPress sites you can download the plan as a WXR file, JSON, or markdown, and apply manually. More on the WordPress / Elementor flow →
What happens if a write to my live site fails?+
Every write is wrapped in three safeguards: dry-run preview (you see what changes before any commit), backup before write (full Elementor data snapshot, retained for rollback), and version concurrency (if anyone edits the page mid-flow, IA detects it and aborts). If something goes wrong after a write, one click via the bridge plugin restores the prior version.
Does IA promise rankings?+
No. We promise the structure search engines reward. Rankings follow from structure being right; they do not follow from rankings being promised. Any SEO tool promising rankings is selling a forecast they cannot deliver. We sell the architecture work that makes rankings possible.
Does IA replace my brand voice or rewrite my existing pages?+
Not unless you explicitly ask. The pipeline rebuilds the architecture and writes the new pages the plan calls for. Pages you have already published stay as you wrote them. If you want IA to also rewrite an existing page, that is an opt-in choice on the plan-review gate.
Will IA generate hundreds of AI blog posts on my site?+
No. The plan typically calls for ~30 pages — pillars, clusters, trust layer, conversion layer. Quality over volume. Bulk AI content is the pattern that broke the SEO industry; we do not want to compete in that market. Every page IA writes has a strategic role in the architecture.
Can I edit what IA writes before it goes live?+
Yes — every page goes through gate 4 (write) before gate 5 (push). At gate 4 you can edit any draft, reject any page, or send it back for regeneration. Once live, you can also edit any page widget-by-widget in Elementor — the IA writes are real Elementor sections, not opaque HTML blobs.
What does the audit actually cost?+
The audit and diagnosis are free. You see your coverage score, governance score, every flagged page, and the full diagnostic report without paying. The fix plan, content generation, and push-to-WordPress are paid tiers. See pricing →
How does IA handle my data?+
We crawl your public pages — same data Google sees. We do not access anything behind a login on your site. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties, or use it to train external models. Full data policy →
How quickly will I see results?+
The structural fixes take effect immediately — Google sees the corrected architecture on the next crawl. Ranking impact varies: cannibalisation fixes often show within 2-4 weeks (Google reassigns ranking signals once it can pick a canonical page); new content cluster additions typically take 4-12 weeks to mature. Trust + conversion pages affect conversion rate, not rank, and show in your analytics immediately.
